Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile are heading to Clackamas Town Center on Monday (October 10, 2011). The Disney Pixar Cars 2 characters will be there from 2pm to 6pm. The Portland Cars 2 event is a part of the Agents on a Mission Tour to promote the upcoming Cars 2 DVD release (November 1st). Other cities include Sacramento, Seattle, Vancouver, Denver, Chicago, and Houston.
The characters featured in the Cars 2 tour are life-size remote-controlled models that race around, light up and rev for fans. Visitors can check out the cars and take part in a variety of Cars 2-themed activities and fun. Activities include a video kiosk, e-photo opportunities, games and giveaways. If you’re lucky, you can even win a Cars 2 DVD from Radio Disney. Maybe we’ll go too and try to win a copy of Cars 2. My toddler loves Cars, but he hasn’t seen Cars 2 yet. BTW, the event is free to the public.
