How annoying. Most of the bowl games this year were only available on cable — including tonight’s Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers football game. If you don’t have cable and don’t want to hang out at a bar, you can watch the BCS National Championship game online at 5:30pm. Thanks to Frontier/Verizon broadband, I’ll be watching the big game on espn3.com. You should check, but I think espn3.com is also available via Comcast but not Qwest in the Pacific Northwest.

After the Beavers decided to sacrificed their bowl game this year so the Ducks could play for the BCS championship (can you tell I’m a Oregon State fan?), I wasn’t planning on watching the BCS game tonight. But I’ve changed my mind. I hate to say this, but I hope the Ducks win. I’m also hoping Chip Kelly and LaMichael James leave after this season. Yeah I know, James said he’s not going to leave early for the NFL this year. But maybe he’ll change his mind if the Ducks win and he runs for over 200 yards.
