If you’re new to the Portland area, here are the main places to see fireworks on the Fourth of July:
- Fort Vancouver
- Tom McCall Waterfront Park
- Eastbank Esplanade (SE Water Ave & Hawthorne Blvd — across from downtown)
- Oaks Park
- Blue Lake Park
Here are some other places you can see fireworks displays:
- Tigard High School
- Lake Oswego (Lake Grove Swim Park)
- Canby (downtown)
- Corbett (school district)
- St. Helens (riverfront)
- Salem (Riverfront Park)
- Seaside (beach)

I have not been to the Canby show, but I do like Portland’s waterfront show. I parked on the east side because it’s easier to find parking (unless you want to pay to park in a downtown lot).
