Fury, which stars Brad Pitt, will open in theaters on October 17th. The movie is a historic story about a sergeant named Wardaddy (Pitt) who is on a mission behind enemy line in Nazi Germany. Thanks to Sony Pictures, three readers of my Portland blog will win a Fury prize pack consisting of a shirt, messenger bag, and bottle. To enter my sweepstakes, leave a comment about your favorite historic film or Brad Pitt movie. The deadline to enter is opening day, October 17th. The winners will be randomly selected. The giveaway is limited to readers in Washington and Oregon only.

Fury Synopsis

It’s April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

  1. I’m not one for a war movie typically but I’ve already told my husband I want to go see this when it comes out. The story line in this movie looks great. Now as far as a favorite Brad Pitt movie? I would have to say it’s a throw up between Seven and Meet Joe Black.

  2. Brad Pitt is in all the best movies. My top two faves of his are Inglourious Basterds and Fight Club.

  3. My favorite historic film is Braveheart! My favorite Brad Pitt film…any of the Oceans series or Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

  4. My favorite historic films are Saving Private Ryan and Schindler’s List. I just can’t say enough about them.

  5. My favorite historic film has to be Pearl Harbor, but there are several great historic movies like Troy and Titanic :)!

  6. My fave historic movie’s ever changing, cuRREntLy it’s “Hell is for Heroes”(McQueen did so many good war movies, it’s ridiculous), yet my fave Pitt Movie will always be “Fight Club”
